Cross Sportswear was founded in 1986 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by two passionate golfers who were frustrated by the lack of water-repellent rainwear that provided full freedom of movement on the golf course. Their vision was to develop a technology that allowed for breathable and stretchable rainwear while also withstanding the harsh climate of Sweden. The solution was FTX, an ultra-lightweight membrane combined with various outer shells to provide optimal protection against wind and water while releasing body moisture to keep the body cool and dry throughout all 18 holes. The unique FTX technology also proved to be ideal for skiwear, where nature demands high levels of strength, mobility, and functionality.

Over the years, Cross Sportswear has acquired unique knowledge and expertise in fabric and material development to design and create functional sportswear with a high fashion consciousness.
